The Apple Watch app automatically syncs with your iPhone when both devices are nearby and connected. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. After completing a round on your watch, open the iPhone app to see your data.
Ensure Location Services are enabled for myGolfEdge in Settings > Privacy > Location Services. For best results, allow "Always" access. GPS accuracy can also be affected by weather, tree cover, and tall buildings.
Your handicap index is calculated using the World Handicap System formula, based on the best 8 of your most recent 20 rounds. You need at least 3 rounds to generate an initial handicap index.
Strokes gained compares your performance to a benchmark on every shot. Positive numbers mean you're gaining strokes (better than average), negative numbers mean you're losing strokes. Use it to identify which parts of your game need the most improvement.
Yes! Go to the Rounds tab, select the round you want to edit, and tap the edit button. You can modify scores, shots, clubs, and other details.
In the Courses tab, tap the "+" button to add a new course. Enter the course name, rating, and slope. For GPS features, you'll need to play a round on the course to map it.
