myGolfEdge ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the myGolfEdge website (https://mygolfedge.net) and the myGolfEdge mobile application (the "App" or "Service").

Location data is processed primarily on your device. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this will limit GPS-dependent features.

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected without your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality and features
  • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant insights

Your golf round data, statistics, and preferences are stored:

  • Locally on your device: All data is initially stored on your iPhone or Apple Watch
  • iCloud (optional): If you enable iCloud synchronization, your data is backed up to your personal iCloud account, subject to Apple's privacy policies

You maintain full control over your data and can delete it at any time through the App settings or by deleting the App.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or distribute your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in delivering the Service, including:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers
  • Analytics services (anonymized data only)
  • Crash reporting and performance monitoring tools
